For Lovable

Lovable templates that save your credits

Every edit in Lovable costs credits, and most of them go on getting the first version to look right. These templates skip that part: bring a finished, tested React + Tailwind site into Lovable through GitHub, fill in one PRD file, and send a single prompt to make it yours.

Why use a template in Lovable?

Built for Lovable's stack

Vite, React, TypeScript and Tailwind: the same stack Lovable builds with, so its AI edits the code without fighting the framework. No Next.js to convert.

One prompt to rebrand

Describe your product in docs/PRD.md and send prompt #1. Name, copy, colors and sections update in one go instead of twenty small edits.

Edits stay on-style

AGENTS.md and DESIGN.md tell Lovable's AI how the design works, so later changes match the rest of the page.

How to use a template in Lovable

  1. 1

Connect a Lovable project to GitHub

Lovable can't import an existing repository, so start a new Lovable project and connect it to GitHub. Lovable creates a new repository and keeps it in two-way sync.

  2. 2

Push the template into that repository

Replace the repository's files with the template and push to the main branch. The changes sync back into Lovable and the site runs, because it is already a working Vite project.

  3. 3

Fill in the PRD and send prompt #1

Write your product name, audience and features in docs/PRD.md, then paste prompt #1 from PROMPTS.md. Lovable rebrands the whole page.

Every download also includes START-HERE.md with step-by-step setup and fixes for common errors.

Lovable template FAQ

Do these templates really save Lovable credits?

Yes. The design, layout, responsive behaviour and animations are already done, so you only spend credits on your own content and features. Rebranding takes one prompt instead of many rounds of fixes.

Can Lovable import a template straight from GitHub?

No. Lovable's GitHub sync only creates new repositories; it can't link one you already have. The working route is to connect a new Lovable project to GitHub, then push the template's files into the repository Lovable created. Changes pushed to its main branch sync back into Lovable.

Why not a Next.js template?

Lovable builds Vite + React apps. Our templates use exactly that stack, so nothing needs converting and the AI doesn't fight the framework.

Can I use the template for client sites built in Lovable?

Yes. You can build unlimited sites for yourself and your clients. You just can't resell or share the template itself.
